One care team from birth through 21
Dr. Viswanadham founded the practice and leads the care team. Your child’s care is led by her or by Dr. Adam Ayer, DNP, a pediatric nurse practitioner, and our staff work as an extension of that care from one shared chart. Whoever answers your call or sees your child already knows their history from birth, so a sick child is seen the same day without waiting for one person’s schedule. The same team stays with you through the hand-off to adult care.
A recognized medical home
NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition means same-day access, care coordinated with specialists and schools, and outcomes tracked for every patient. Few independent pediatric practices in North Georgia hold it.
Behavioral health inside primary care
ADHD, anxiety, depression and developmental concerns are screened and treated here by a pediatrician with REACH Institute training, without a months-long wait for an outside referral.
Every child belongs here
Children come to us for check-ups, vaccines, sick visits and growing-up questions. Children with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome or complex medical needs get the same welcome, with longer, calmer visits and one team that works with their therapists and school.
Same-day sick visits, in English or Spanish
Call or text when we open and your child is seen that day, in the office or by video. Dr. Viswanadham is fluent in Spanish.
Medicaid and commercial plans
Georgia Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids and most commercial plans are accepted, because access should not depend on the card in your wallet.

Children Dr. Viswanadham cared for two decades ago now bring their own babies, and families drive an hour or more from Fayetteville, Peachtree City and Jonesboro to stay with her.

How we work
What a medical home feels like
Your child is cared for by one team, visit after visit: Dr. Viswanadham leads the care team; your child’s care is led by her or by Dr. Adam Ayer, DNP, and the staff work as an extension of it. Everyone on the team knows your family and your child: siblings, school, the things that worry you at 2 a.m. Well visits run on time and are not rushed. When something comes up between visits, a text or a portal message reaches a person who knows the chart.
Behavioral and developmental concerns are handled in the same room as ear infections, so a worry about attention, mood or milestones does not mean starting over with a stranger. Referrals, forms, prior authorizations and school letters are done by our team, and we follow up to make sure they landed.
None of this depends on insurance type. Families with Georgia Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids and commercial plans get the same care team, the same same-day access and the same coordination.

Questions families ask before switching
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, from newborns to young adults up to 21, including families with Georgia Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids. Start with the new patient forms or call or text (770) 615-7000.
Can we switch from another pediatrician?
Yes. Sign a records release at your first visit and we request the chart, including immunization records, from the previous practice. Nothing is lost in the move.
Is Dare2Care Pediatrics only for children with special needs?
No. We are a general pediatric practice for every child: newborn visits, check-ups and vaccines, sick visits, sports and school physicals, and teen care. Children with autism or special health care needs are cared for alongside them, with extra time and coordination.
Do you see children with special needs or autism?
Yes, this is a core part of the practice. See special needs and autism care for what the first visit looks like and how care is coordinated.
What insurance do you take?
Georgia Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids through Amerigroup Community Care, CareSource and Peach State Health Plan, plus most commercial plans. The full list, and the few plans we do not take, is on the insurance page.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes, for established patients on weekdays: follow-ups, rashes, medicine questions and behavioral-health check-ins. Anything that needs an exam or a test comes into the office.
